This redesign resulted in 25% increase in booking conversion rate
Travel agency Project
Project Summary:
With approximately 70% of travelers preferring agencies with websites over those without.
I designed a website with 25% improvement in the booking conversion rate.
Quick booking for travelers
Our primary audience is travelers seeking hassle-free trip planning and booking.
Secondary users include travel agencies looking for a platform to promote their services efficiently.

My role: Design & test for UX
As the sole UX designer on this project, my responsibilities included every aspect of design, from user research and interface design to usability testing and iterative improvements.
Constraints: enough time - limited resources
The project scope was the creation of a user-centric travel agency website from scratch. Constraints included limited color choice and images (Boulyer agency brand), necessitating efficient design decisions and iterative improvements.
Solution: visuals aren’t enough
Boulyer is a travel agency website designed to provide travelers with a hassle-free booking experience.
The core concept revolves around enabling users to quickly and easily book trips by specifying their destination, date, and price range.

The Working Process and Actions Taken:
1. Research and Feedback
To kickstart the project, I used competitive analysis as a vital tool. By studying similar platforms and analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, I gained valuable insights into what works best and what doesn’t.
2. Design an early version
Based on research, I created initial wireframes and prototypes, focusing on simplicity and user-friendliness. Early testing with travel agencies and potential users helped identify areas for improvement.
3. Content Strategy
Collaborating with travel agencies, we curated content that resonated with travelers. High-quality images of tourist destinations and genuine user testimonials were prioritized.
4. Iterative Testing works
User testing isn’t just about small adjustments. In this project for example a major feature was added after collecting test results. (read more on major update)
5. Final Redesign
The design journey of Boulyer was a fascinating one. Initially, it leaned towards clutter, which we quickly realized didn’t align with our user-centric approach. Through rigorous user testing and iteration, we achieved a clean, user-friendly interface. This transformation ensures that users can focus on what matters while planning their ideal trip.

Major Update: Personalized Trip Plans
We’re not done innovating. Boulyer’s future holds a groundbreaking feature—personalized trip plans. Imagine not knowing where to go on your vacation, or how to make the most of your time. Our upcoming feature will address this. Users will be able to specify preferences such as the number of destinations, time intervals, favorite cuisines, and places of interest. In return, they’ll receive a tailor-made travel plan with cost-effective options. This feature reflects our commitment to enhancing the travel experience continually.
Outcomes and Takeaways:
1. Boulyer transformed from a cluttered concept into an intuitive, user-focused travel agency website.
2. User feedback and iterative design were instrumental in enhancing the website’s usability
3. The website successfully conveys trust, inspiration, and user-friendliness.
